Do you struggle to find different ideas to mix up your protein sources in your meals?
This recipe is packed with protein and full of flavour.
Bolognese Ragu
Ingredients (~6 servings)
1 Red onion
2 Garlic gloves
2 Carrots
2 celery sticks
Large pack of 5% lean minced beef
Chopped Pancetta
3 tbsp tomato paste
3 cups beef stock
Glass of red wine
Glass of milk
Tagliatelle
Parmesan
Black pepper
Method
Add olive oil to pan and allow to heat
Add onions, carrot & celery and cook for 8 minutes
Add garlic and stir for 1 minute
Add mince & pancetta and brown for 15 minutes
Add red wine and cook for 1 minute
Add tomato paste & stock and simmer for 1 hour
In a separate pan heat milk and slowly add to bolognese
Simmer for a further 45 minutes
Once ready to eat, cook tagliatelle, mix in some bolognese and top with parmesan & black pepper
