HAMSTRINGS

Your hamstrings can be found at the back of your thigh and are made up of three different muscles:
Bicep femoris
Semimembranosus
Semitendinosuss

Tilts the pelvis
Extends the hip
Bends the knee

To propel you forward and control stride length when running, jumping..
Helps with pelvic stability

Shortened range: Lying hamstring curl
Mid Range: Romanian deadlift
Lengthened Range: Hamstring bridge
Note: the muscle will generally be at it's weakest in the shorted and lengthened ranges (hence why those damn hamstring bridges I make you hold can make those hammys feel rather crampy sometimes!!
